Born in Denmark and raised in Italy, Linda Crast is an artist based in Sivas. After artistic studies in Turin and different work experiences in old buildings restoration as churches, circumstances brought her to Crete in 1999. Here she raised her family and made her hobby into a job. Making murales, mosaics and signs has been for many years the principal occupation. Lately she spends more time at her atelier, in Sivas, painting canvases. She has held several exhibition in Kamilari, Sivas, Pitsidia and Paleochora and is the ideator of the Matala Street Painting. Her style is bold and colorful, can be realistic but also abstract, definitely polyhedral.
